As the pandemic lockdown dragged on, I found myself struggling to stay motivated and focused. The startup I had joined had come to a halt, and I was uncertain about my future. Desperate for a way to stay productive, I decided to take up a new hobby: WordPress website development.

At first, it was just a way to pass the time. But as I delved deeper into the world of code and design, I found myself growing more and more passionate about the work. I started to dream of making a career out of it.

Just when things seemed bleakest, I received a call from a company that was looking for a salesperson on a commission basis. With my experience in sales, I decided to apply for the job and quickly proved myself to be a natural. I closed three deals on my first day, and my employer asked me to train other sales interns.

But as I continued to work for the company, I started to suspect that something was not right. My employer was unresponsive and failed to deliver on promised projects. I eventually discovered that they were taking upfront fees from clients and then disappearing. Faced with an unethical employer, I decided to resign and strike out on my own as a freelancer.

Thanks to my hard work and dedication, I quickly established myself as a reliable and skilled website developer. One of my first clients was the same one I closed as a salesperson, who had come to trust me and believe in my abilities. I delivered their project in record time, and it became the catalyst for my successful freelancing career.

My experience in sales proved to be an invaluable asset as I built my business. I was able to use my skills in marketing and sales to attract new clients and grow my business. Despite the challenges I faced, I persevered and followed my dreams, ultimately finding success in the world of website development. My story is one of resilience, determination, and the power of hard work.
